Programs Available at American Institute:
CosmetologyAt American Institute you can earn your cosmetology diploma in as little as twelve (12) months for day classes, or eighteen (18) months for evening classes.
Our cosmetology program prepares you with the skills, knowledge and hands-on training needed to take one of the Florida State approved licensure exam, qualify for State license, and pursue employment in the field of cosmetology.*
In addition to learning the basics of cosmetology, you will also study in all facets of hairstyling including color, cut and chemical services. The program also provides courses in skin care and nail technology.
You will get plenty of practice on the public prior to graduation, in the safe environment of the dedicated students’ salon. This will help you gain self-confidence and greater experience prior to entering the workforce.
Massage Therapy
At American Institute you can earn your massage diploma in as little as eight (8) months for both day and evening classes.
Our massage therapy program prepares you with the skills, knowledge and hands-on training needed to take one of the Florida State approved licensure exams, qualify for State license, and pursue employment in the field of massage therapy.*
In addition to learning the basics of massage therapy, you will also study extensively specialized areas of massage including Swedish massage, deep-tissue massage, sports massage, and spa techniques.
You will also get to practice your skills on the public prior to graduation, in the safe environment of the dedicated students’ clinic. This will help you gain self-confidence and greater experience prior to entering the workforce.
